About the Grove

Gladys Grove is what happens when a lifelong crafty kid grows up and never stops making things. I’ve been creating since the days of Etch‑A‑Sketch masterpieces and Lite‑Brite “installations,” and I’ve pretty much tried every craft under the sun. These days, my creative roots have settled into the calming, wonderfully analog world of crochet — where every piece is made by hand, one project at a time.

 

I come from the digital arts world (25+ years of pixels, bezier curves, and color palettes), and that design background sneaks into everything I make. Thoughtful colors, balanced shapes, cozy textures — it all grows together here in the Grove.

 

In a world full of AI‑generated “handmade,” I take pride in creating real, tangible pieces that come from actual human hands — mine. Imperfect in the best way, intentional in every stitch, and made slowly, the way good things grow.
